“Where do we go? Turkey and Germany and the Digital Revolution” 5th Turkish-German Frontiers of Social Science Symposium 2019 @AvHStiftung @kocuniversity 24.-27. October 2019 in Leipzig

The 5th Turkish-German Frontiers of Social Science Symposium 2019 of the Alexander von Humboldt-Foundation in Germany, the Mercator Foundation and Koç University will focus on “Where do we go? Turkey and Germany and the Digital Revolution“, and will take place from 24.-27. October 2019 in Leipzig.

Alexandra Scheele (University of Bielefeld) and Cengiz Acartürk (Middle East Technical University) will organize a session on “How will we work? – Digital Capitalism and the Future of Human Work “, where I am going to present my paper on The human as a part of an endless input-process-output (IPO) action loop on the example of Brain-Machine Interface Research. I will show, how operation units of the Human-Machine System, the organic and inorganic parts, become part of the course of interaction with blurred boundaries and how the human becomes a part of a nearly endless input-process-output (IPO) action loop, which is -in this example- performed techno-cerebrally. I will present this techno-cerebral action loop within an analytical framework, that might provide a better understanding of Human-Computer workshare environments and thus give a detailed description of Human-Machine division of labour.
