As a result of my interest in art and my first steps in approaching this exciting field, I have added a new category to my website: “Creative Explorations“. It contains information about my collaborations with designers and artists and bridges the gap between art, science and society.
As a sociologist who is deeply engaged with the artistic and scientific community, I have had the unique opportunity to work with a variety of artists, designers and filmmakers. This collaboration has not only deepened my understanding of art and its transformative power in societies, but has also led to significant contributions to academic and public discourse.

“Creative Explorations” presents projects and events that I have carried out or co-organized with these creative minds. It is a space where I present our interdisciplinary engagements, which include publications and cutting-edge exhibitions. On this small platform, I want to show how art and science intersect and enrich our perception of both the human experience and our society.

For example, I present projects and publications such as “VULVA STUDY/ Manufacturing the Vulva” and “Hair:y_less Masculinities. A Cartography”, which explore topics ranging from cosmetic surgery to gender identities through a unique blend of scientific analysis and artistic expression. Exhibitions and events such as the “Cyborg Encounters Exhibition” and the “BIO-FICTION Science, Art & Film Festival” are also presented, creating platforms for dialog and discovery at the intersection of science, film and art.
