I am very excited to announce that my article “My Cyborg Performance as a Techno-Cerebral Subject” has been published in Modified: Living as a Cyborg by Routledge Publishing:

Şahinol, M. (2020). My Cyborg Performance as a Techno-Cerebral Subject. In Chris Hables Gray, Heidi Figueroa Sarriera & Steven Mentor (eds.) Modified: Living as a Cyborg (pp. 197-211): Routledge.

I feel that it is a special honor to have a place in this book, to be among leading experts and key figures, whom I have admired since I was a student – like Donna Haraway.

I am thankful to Chris H. Gray, who asked me at the EASST/4S conference in New Orleans last year to write an essay on the subject. Once again – especially in pandemic times – I am aware of the fact, that “locating and timing matters” so much.
